The Defendant was accused of stabbing another man in the heart. The defense showed that the only evidence against the Defendant was the testimony of the victim, who was not believable. His testimony not only contradicted all of the other witnesses, but even his own prior statements. The defense argued that the stabbing was actually the result of the victim pulling a knife on the Defendant, and a struggle followed. Both of them fell during the struggle and the victim was accidentally stabbed. After a four day trial, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty.
