A Dougherty county case involving Theft by Shoplifting was dismissed after we showed the co-­defendant committed the crime

The client was arrested along with another individual for shoplifting. We obtained a statement from the co­defendant that he committed the crime without our client’s knowledge. The evidence was consistent with this statement, so the state dismissed the case against our client.
